Industry Cleared for Safety

 

The Geo Cruiser has been tested and cleared by the Food and Drug Administration for safety and was awarded a 510K Pre-Market Notification, which is a requirement for manual and electric wheelchairs. This should be an important consideration when comparing lightweight electric foldable wheelchairs. Many products attempt to get around this by claiming to be mobility aids not requiring FDA. We recommend that you contact the FDA to check if a product requires a 510K.
